How to Cultivate a Positive and Healthy Relationship with Your Child

1. Properly Communicate

Teach your child how to express their needs and to advocate through proper communication.


2. Be Responsible

Children need to learn how to do things for themselves.


3. Problem Solve

Children need to be given an appropriate amount of time to figure something out that is difficult.


4. Enjoy Downtime

Children do not need to be scheduled every hour of the day, being bored can bring out the best in kids.


5. Be Respectful

Everyone brings something unique to the table with unique backgrounds, experiences, and a viewpoint and all of those things should be treated with value and respect.
