Patrick Young, Ph.D., CC-AASP

Patrick’s aim is to provide individuals with the psychological tools necessary to reach their full potential. Patrick consults with athletes of all ages and ability/skill levels, business executives in areas of leadership, communication, and confidence building, and individuals within the performing arts.

Currently, he consultants with the athletic department at UNC Charlotte, where he works with several of the athletic teams. He is also an associate professor of psychology at Wingate University and a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), American Psychological Association (APA; divisions 2 and 47) and the Association of Psychological Science (APS).
